The present church building dates from 1830. The halls opposite, based around the old Ballycarry National School, are of a more modern construction, recently extended and are used for a variety of activities connected with the Church.
Our church is situated in what was known as Templecorran Parish 6 miles North of Carrickfergus, Co. Antrim. It remains an area deeply rooted in its Scottish heritage and is said to be the most densely populated area where descendants of the Scottish Plantation still reside.
Step inside the church building any Sunday morning for worship and you will find a warm and friendly welcome from other worshippers. Sit anywhere you like and admire the simple décor of the typical barn style architecture. The pews are a more recent addition, obtained from Claremont Church in Londonderry when our building was refurbished in 1997.
